  • Use and handle resources in a sustainable way within the framework of applicable standards.
  • Provide input for environmental management processes.
  • Interact with supervisors and lead a team within an operational context.

Course Content
  1. Operate specialised vehicles and/or complex machinery and equipment – 12 credits
  2.  Apply safety, health, and environmental protection procedures – 6 credits
  3. Collect data for environmental management purposes – 8 credits
  4.  Implement lean work practices to ensure sound environmental management practices – 10 credits
  5. Use appropriate environmental management tools and protocols to detect and respond to specific impacts – 10 credits
  6. Plan teamwork functions and complete reports – 4 credits
  7. Apply knowledge of self and team to develop a plan to enhance team performance
